Supervision/Mentoring

My first experience at supervision came while serving as a crew chief in the Air Force. After returning from Viet Nam, I was in charge of ten airman and aircraft valued at $40,000,000.

At Enron, I managed teams of employees on several development, and ERP projects as well as providing on-going support of systems. When the IT function was transitioned to EDS, I moved to a larger unit where I was responsible for all the financial systems. I managed these systems with a team of young employees recently graduated from the EDS training. This was a challenge due to the inexperience of the employees, but I enjoyed the opportunity to develop and mentor the employees.

Since joining I-Structure in 1997, supervision (as well as management) has been a function of my position. As in the past, I still enjoy this aspect of my position.
